Ingram Micro Unveils Global Expansion Plans Following Record Year-Over-Year Growth

Ingram Micro, a wholesale technology distributor, has announced that its VentureTech Network (VTN) community is outpacing market growth in areas including IT infrastructure, networking and security. This ongoing growth and increased revenue will allow Ingram Micro to expand into the UK.

In 2013, the VTN community has grown four-times more than the IT industry’s overall average, according to Gartner Research. VTN also has already generated more revenue to date than all of 2012.

John Fago, Senior Director of Channel Marketing at Ingram Micro North America, noted: “2013 is a big year for the VTN community and our vendor sponsors, and we’re thrilled to see VTN formally break ground internationally. By keeping VTN’s focus on partnership and prosperity, the community has already exceeded its annual growth goals for 2013 and members are reporting higher sales across several technology categories and market specializations.”
