Dell recently enhanced its relationship with Ingram Micro Inc. to expand its partner program and better deliver electronic medial records (EMR) solutions and services to the physician market.
As part of the revised relationship, Ingram Micro will provide technical, sales and healthcare knowledge to Dell solution providers. As a result, partners will have expertise on the entire end-user journey: from initial configuration and quoting, through financing and delivery.
Ingram Micro’s healthcare team also will help Dell solution providers access a wide range of resources, including pre-configured IT solutions for medical practices, and testing and validation services with Dell ISV partners.
Dell EMR channel partners will continue to participate in the Dell PartnerDirect program and the EMR Solution Partner Program. Qualifying partners receive exclusive EMR deal registration, Dell EMR Solution Partner branding and access to the Dell Solution Center. “The combination of the Dell certified stack of equipment and the myriad of Ingram Micro service offerings is the perfect ‘one-stop-shop’ for companies like mine,” said Bob Deuby, EVP and Partner at The Computer Guys, a Dell Preferred Partner and Dell EMR Solution Partner. “Ingram Micro’s back-end support tools allow us to scale while maintaining the high-quality of service that our medical practice customers demand.”
