Lantronix and OKI Data Americas To Co-Market xPrintServer

Lantronix, a provider of smart machine-to-machine (M2M) connectivity solutions, recently announced its alliance with OKI Data Americas, a printing solution provider. Through the partnership, Lantronix and OKI Data Americas will co-market the xPrintServer family of iOS print server appliances.

Due to the increased demand of iOS devices, including the iPad, OKI will refer the xPrintServer appliance suite to its network of customers, resellers and distributors. Similarly, Lantronix will tell its network of partners and resellers seeking printing solutions about OKI’s products.

OKI offers printing technology and solutions designed to help organizations manage workflow and optimize performance. By referring xPrintServer solutions from Lantronix, OKI will help ensure Apple compatibility with its selection of printers and multi-function printers.

The xPrintServer also provides controls to help administrators manage access to networked and wireless-enabled printers. Additionally, the xPrintServer utilizes the iOS native print menu and doesn’t require additional applications, software downloads or printer driver installations. The technology can run and print wirelessly from any iOS device running iOS version 4.2 or later, to a selection of USB or network-connected printers.
