Business analytics software company Tableau Software has signed six new partners to its OEM Partner Program, including independent software vendors (ISVs) DataSelf, eNate, icix, Lightbeam Health Solutions, Prodagio and TimeTrade.
The OEM program is designed to create a cost-effective solution for ISVs that want fast and easy-to-use analytics capabilities without the expensive burden that comes with many complex business intelligence applications, according to a company press release. Participating ISVs can embed the Tableau visual data analysis tool into their application suites, as well as offer Tableau products to customers in a co-branded fashion.
“This program was originally created in response to strong demand from the ISV community, and the continued growth we are seeing is strong validation that our OEM Partners are achieving success while providing a complement to Tableau’s direct sales channel,” said Paul Greenspan, Director of OEM Sales at Tableau Software. The Tableau OEM Partner Program currently is comprised of more than 50 vendors, including Adobe, Envisionware, IBM, Invensys and Zilliant.
