Star Micronics To Spotlight Mobile POS And Customer Engagement Technologies At NRF BIG Show

Star Micronics America, a global manufacturer of mobile POS and customer engagement technologies, will be exhibiting a series of new solutions at the 103rd annual National Retail Federation Convention.

Star Micronics is among the 520 solution providers showcasing their innovative technologies on the EXPO floor. The event will be held Jan. 12-15, 2014, at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York City.

New solutions will be put on display at the Star Micronics booth (#3219), such as the ProxiPRNT mobile printing and secure cash management technology, as well as wireless cash drawer solutions for mobile POS. With ProxiPRNT, store associates can access point of sale peripherals based on the proximity of a tablet or smartphone device. The wireless cash drawers are equipped with standard RJ11 cable connection and Bluetooth, MFi certified Bluetooth, Ethernet or Wi-Fi connectivity.

Other solutions to be spotlighted at the show include: DK-AirCash; WebPRNT; “i” Series printing solutions for iOS devices; and the AsuraCPRNT interactive mini kiosk.

Current Star Micronics solution partners include:

  • ERPLY, which offers iPad POS and inventory management;
  • Square, the mobile payment company;
  • ELO Touch Solutions, which provides tablet devices; and
  • Posterita, a provider of web-based POS solutions.
