Channel Technology Vendors Form Collective To Amplify Their Solutions’ Benefits

Three different channel technology companies have formed a partnership to help their shared customers achieve a higher return on investment in the solutions they offer.

The companies that comprise the Channel Collective are Channel Mechanics, a channel automation platform provider, Vortex 6, which offers SaaS solutions that automate multi-vendor partner program compliance, and iasset.com, a provider of a management platform for the IT channel. Their partnership was formed to give customers better visibility of all their offerings thus improving the efficiency of their partner programs.

The idea for the Channel Collective was sparked by the observation that an “extraordinary volume of channel software companies were operating with a common purpose,” said Scott Frew, CEO of iasset.com. The goal of these companies, he continued, is to offer quality solutions that automate the parts of business that transact with essentially disparate vendor, distributor SPs and VAR operating processes. “Channel Mechanics and Vortex 6 have excellent solutions that are not only complementary to the iasset.com platform, but when integrated can provide an exponential multiplier in productivity, cost reduction and opportunity acceleration.”

“We recognize how tough and competitive the channel environment is,” added Peter Olive, CEO of Vortex 6, especially as more vendors and partners shift their focus to cloud. “This initiative is aimed to help our partners achieve better value and maximum revenue from their engagement with us, which will deliver a win-win for all concerned.  Our platforms are complementary and together we are able to deliver a level of automation that is unique in the market today.”

“The Channel Collective initiative provides us with a unique opportunity to combine our complementary solutions to support the ever-changing and demanding needs of the channel eco-system we support,” said Kenneth Fox, CEO of Channel Mechanics. Our coming together provides a vision and mindshare that brings new levels of automation to the channel, previously unimaginable.”

Vendors, distributors and partners who are leveraging these solutions as part of their go-to-market strategy, Fox continued, “are seeing accelerated revenue, reduced costs and new levels of data insights shaping their growth trajectories.”
