The Channel Institute, a training body dedicated to promoting and developing the channel profession worldwide, is adding a Certificate in Channel Sales to it offerings. Other certificates included in the portfolio include training for channel management, channel marketing and digital co-marketing.
The Certificate in Channel Sales was developed for channel sales professionals seeking new opportunities to improve the sales performance of the channel partners they manage. The training course introduces best practices, tools and insights to move channel managers to the next stage of performance, enabling them to accelerate both their current sales results and their career development.
Modules include topics such as joint prospecting, joint solution selling, motivating partners, partner pipeline qualification and encouraging partner loyalty. The online course is comprised of 10 modules and an exam.
The course content has been approved by an independent industry advisory council comprised of senior thought leaders at some of the worlds’ largest technology employers.
“Following the successful launch of our certificate courses in Channel Management and Channel Marketing, we received many requests for a similar certificate course dealing with best practices in channel sales,” said Mike Kelly, Executive Director with the Channel Institute. “I am delighted that this is now available to channel sales professionals worldwide. It is another step towards establishing channel business as a profession in its own right.”
