Sectigo Launches New Partner Portal To Support Updated Channel Program

Sectigo, a leading provider of digital identity management and web security solutions, has launched a new partner portal with the rollout of its updated channel program.

The Secure Partner Program features engagement-based tiering to better align with the business goals of individual partners. All partners registered in the new program receive access to advanced training and accreditation programs to help them improve their sales and support effectiveness.

Financial incentives, such as a new partner pricing model and dedicated marketing development funds (MDF), have been added to the new program. Accredited partners who grow their sales with Sectigo are rewarded with more incentives for their business and employees.

Partners in the program gain myriad benefits, including access to the new Sectigo Connect Partner Portal, advancing their ability to build new capabilities, deliver more value to customers, drive higher profits, and accelerate growth in today’s dynamic cybersecurity market.

Easy Access To Tools, Content

The portal provides quick, direct access to essential tools and resources that enable partners to engage with Sectigo to successfully introduce new products to their customers.

Prior to the rollout of the new portal, Sectigo had a reseller account manager platform where partners could apply to be a reseller, get pricing information and marketing material, explained Michele Campbell, Vice President, Global Channel Programs and Enablement. “But they never had an actual portal, a PRM solution where they would have access to an LMS component, an MDF component, or other tools. So we built the program, a very bespoke approach to these resellers.”

Online Training Prioritized

Central to the Secure Partner Program, the portal provides access to the Partner Resource Center, a self-serve repository of sales collateral, technical product documents, marketing tools and guides.

The Sectigo University online learning and enablement platform enables partners to gain new cybersecurity expertise, learn about Sectigo’s digital identity and website security products, build new capabilities, deliver greater customer value, and accelerate growth.

Available on-demand 24/7 to the company’s 1,200 partners worldwide, the platform offers role-based curricula derived from 70 training courses for sales and technical individuals, delivered through interactive learning modules, with testing. Sectigo provides partners with automated tracking of each student’s progress as they work toward accreditation.

Partner can make requests for MDF in the portal and monitor allocations in a new dashboard. The portal is also the home for webinars and events hosted by Sectigo experts and program onboarding training to guide partners through the first 90 days.

“Partners play a crucial role in Sectigo’s growth and success. The new Secure Partner Program enables partners to grow with us and to build a rewarding business around our suite of industry-leading web security products,” said Michael Fowler, President of Channel Partners, Sectigo in a press release. “We’ve designed our program to enable success and provide the opportunity for better profitability.”

Launching the new portal in January was “a big win,” said Campbell, who joined Sectigo in May. In addition to building the portal infrastructure, the channel team had collect, identify, tag and publish materials into the resource center. The training provided in the Sectigo University is completely new. “There was no online training provided to partners at all,” said Campbell. Designing, building and the launching the portal in just seven months was “a fun, exciting ride,” she added.
