Schneider Electric, a global provider of energy management and automation solutions, has launched a new partner program to provide a simplified, innovative and collaborative approach to enabling partner growth. mySchneider IT Partner Program focuses on enabling diverse and evolving business models and allows partners to differentiate their business by becoming a strategic advisor and expert in their market across multiple IT competencies.
The new program has been crafted to reflect how partner business models have been evolving, said Leslie Vitrano, Director, Global Channel Marketing & Digital Channel Management at Schneider Electric. Commenting on trends such as the increased revenue opportunities related to providing services, collaborating with other partners, and expanding competencies required by the same account, Vitrano said that the company “needed to not only provide value to the end user, but also allow the partner ecosystem to work better together.”
To ensure adjustments met the needs of it partner ecosystem, the company implemented a qualitative and quantitative research effort, asking for partner comments in surveys as well as through in-depth phone calls. The company wanted to be “more upfront with our partners on what, where, and how they need to focus in order to grow,” said Vitrano.
Schneider Electric’s updated IT partner program accommodates its dynamic ecosystem by enabling partners to grow and differentiate their business for the long-term. The program focuses on unique specializations, giving partners the flexibility to certify in one or more based on their current capabilities and future aspirations.
“The mission of our partner program has become clear,” said Paul Tyrer, Global IT Channels VP at Schneider Electric, in a press release. “For more than ten years, members of our IT channel program have reaped strong benefits including discounts, tools and innovative offers from Schneider Electric and its flagship APC brand. Partners participating in the evolved program will stay agile amid today’s evolving market trends, and in turn, produce approximately eight times higher revenue,” he continued.
