ScanSource, a value-added distributor of specialty technology products, has announced the development of the ScanSource Services Group (SSG), a new business unit within the organization. The focus of SSG will be on the planning and execution of custom value-added support programs and partners from the company’s reseller partners, according to a company press release.
SSG offers a variety of services resellers can leverage to increase education and overall profits, such as assessment, configuration, implementation, education and training, marketing, and partnership opportunities.
“We are very excited to have a business unit that is solely focused on delivering industry-leading professional services, education and training, and marketing support to our reseller partners,” said Mike Burns, President of the SSG business unit. “We are continually looking for ways to help resellers grow their businesses more efficiently and cost effectively. Our services are customized to meet the individual needs of our reseller partners so that they can build on their success and focus on growing sales, while saving time and money.”
