Wincor Nixdorf today announced an expansion to its partner programto include resellers in North America. The company is exhibiting its variety of retail solutions with U.S. partner Synnex during the RetailNOW conference, which is being held through August 7 at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino in Las Vegas.

The Wincor Nixdorf partner program provides partners with access to a portfolio of retail solutions that includes software-based back office solutions such as cash management, kiosk and POS.

Authorized partners benefit from reduced competition through Wincor’s deal registration process, which was developed to help mitigate channel conflict. Partners also receive special incentives, including accelerated rebates, demo equipment, training and sales support, and marketing funds for advertising, shows and exhibitions, and a variety of other lead generation activities.

“Today’s retail solutions are becoming more complex, and when retailers make purchasing decisions, they must not only take into account their IT environments today, but they must also factor in their vision for the future,“ said Patrick Leonard, VP of Retail, North America for Wincor Nixdorf.  “In the past, channel partners supporting smaller retail customers have been limited to lower-end POS solutions where price supersedes capabilities — our partner program aims to change the game by providing partners with state-of-the-art solutions that fit their unique requirements for all of their customers.“

The Wincor Nixdorf partner program is supported by distribution and logistics partner Synnex, which will offer integrated solutions, services and support to retailers across the Canada, Mexico and the U.S.

“One of Synnex‘s core strategies is to align with top manufacturers in the IT industry,” said Adnon Dow, VP of the Global Mobility Solutions Business Unit at Synnex. “We are pleased to collaborate with Wincor to offer its best-in-class technology to to enable the channel to better serve their retail customers.”
