TreeHouse Interactive, an on-demand partner relationship management (PRM) and marketing automation solution provider, has released two new modules for its Reseller View PRM solution that are designed to improve collaboration, engagement and sales across the channel.
The new partner support module is directly integrated into Salesforce CRM, allowing partners to request support from within their partner web portals. Support professionals also are able to manage support directly from the Salesforce Service Cloud.
TreeHouse Interactive also has refined the marketing development fund (MDF) request process to make it completely paperless and more automated, from initial activity approvals to MDF payment.
Both modules will make doing business more seamless for both vendors and their partners, while also increasing engagement and potential revenue.
“Partners want to work with support people who work with their system every day, and don’t have the time or memory space to remember multiple logins and passwords,” said Erich Flynn, CEO at TreeHouse Interactive, in an interview with Channel Marketer Report. “The new support module will always connect partners to the support personnel they are looking for, all while keeping communication bi-directional and on one single interface for fast issue resolution.”
With the new MDF module, partners will be able to apply for funds via the same web portal, while sales executives can approve or reroute requests through automated workflows, emails and alerts, eliminating manual paper-based processes.
“Given all the technology we see in the industry, even with multi-million dollar companies, we still see many running their MDF or co-op manually,” Flynn said. “And we also rarely see fund requests tied to any partner revenue or other data. Our MDF module automates the process, from the initial request to payment claim processing, and keeps all the data collected with the requesting partner.”
Both modules will greatly improve the vendor/partner relationship by giving Reseller View a clearer view of each partner, all in one place. The ability to view account support cases and MDF statuses, along with leads, opportunities and contracts, will reduce the risk of miscommunication and lack of partner knowledge.
“Organizations are increasingly recognizing that better partner relationship management is key to sales growth,” Flynn said. “Reseller View’s partner support and MDF modules drive better partner engagement and management, which are essential for our clients’ success.”
