James F. DeSocio, who was most recently, the chief revenue officer at Relayware, has been named president and chief executive officer of Intellinetics. He has also been appointed to the company’s board of directors.
Intellinetics, a Columbus, OH, software company, offers a platform that supports document-centric processes for embedded work teams in businesses of any size. It offers an efficient way to merge documents into digital workflows, increasing service levels, compliance and customer satisfaction while decreasing costs and risk.
“I am excited about the opportunities at Intellinetics where all of the pieces for success are in place: a robust product offering, standing presence in untapped vertical markets, key strategic OEM partners like Intel and Staples, and a strong foundation of channel resellers,” said DeSocio in a press release.
“Coming off a successful exit and evaluating alternatives for my next steps, Intellinetics presented an opportunity to repeat the successful formula of rapidly growing customers and recurring SaaS sales.”
Relayware, a partner relationship management (PRM) software provider, merged with Zift Solutions, a channel marketing automation company, earlier this summer. The companies stated that the merger positions them to offer current and prospective customers enterprise channel management technology and services via Zift’s Channel as a Service (CHaaS) platform.
The merger allowed Relayware clients to integrate new capabilities for digital marketing, content syndication and social media syndication provided by Zift. It also enables Zift users to use PRM solutions and gain access to new training and sales enablement functionality, more service offerings and deeper support resources.
While DeSocio was at Relayware, the company doubled subscription revenue and tripled the customer base over a two-year period.
