JS Group ‘Partners’ With Client Qumu To Implement Global Channel Program

The JS Group (JSG), a channel strategy consultancy and services company, has entered a unique relationship with Qumu Corporation, a provider of cloud-based enterprise video technology, to implement a world-class global channel program.

More than offering traditional channel support services, JSG “has a different agreement with Qumu,” Janet Schijns, JSG’s CEO, told CMR. “It’s based on the two firms working together to bring the solution to the channel.” Schijns did not discuss the financial aspects of its relationship with Qumu. She added that JSG is exploring similar partnerships with other companies.

Any relationships will be contingent on the company offering “a solution that we feel is going to shift, change, enhance the channel profitability, because we’re all about the channel,” said Schijns. “It’s got to be exceptionally good for the channel.”

Under the partnership, JSG will provide support for partner enablement and additional channel frameworks for Qumu to connect with highly relevant channel partners, supplementing and extending the reach of Qumu’s sales team. Providing what Schijns described as “partner experience as a service,” JSG will help speed the application of roadmaps and strategies to connect Qumu’s superior video capabilities, security, scalability and expertise to new channel partners aiding organizations in their digital transformation journeys.

The channel program offers partner incentives, customer benefits, operational support and market development fund (MDF) management to help Qumu further increase its small, medium and large business market penetration for its leading enterprise video platform.
