Avira Develops North America Channel Program

Avira, an IT security software and services provider, has announced the launch of its North America Channel Program, which will offer resellers security for less than a one dollar a month.

“We started with a blank slate and created an innovative program from the ground-up to be partner-friendly and partner-profitable,” said Lance Jacobs, North America’s General Manager for Avira, in a statement. “Our partners enjoy the full program benefits, immediate access to the products and tools, and excellent margins from the moment they sign up. There are no delays, no training hurdles and no complications. We’re successful only if [partners] are successful.”

The new program offers two partner tiers:

  • Smart Partner, which offers 24/7 technical support, evaluation licenses, access to PartnerNet and Partner Academy, as well as free online training.
  • Uber Partner, which provides partners with everything available in the Smart Partner package, in addition to a designated account manager, free NFR product, assignment of leads and a dedicated technical support number, which will offer partners with instant assistance.

Both options also have no charges for software maintenance and updates.
