Monetate Makes Aggressive Moves With New Partner Program

Monetate
, a testing, targeting and personalization platform for online marketers, has added Brooks Bell, an optimization firm for enterprise-level clients, to its Certified Partner program. The Monetate Certified Partner Program was designed to help educate partners across all tiers of the variety of features and capabilities in the Monetate platform.

“Brooks Bell is one of the leading testing agencies in the industry, and they recognize Monetate as an enterprise tool that combines power and complexity with an elegant and intuitive interface,” Colton Perry, VP of Partnerships for Monetate, told Channel Marketer Report. “We see the Brooks Bell partnership as an endorsement of Monetate as an enterprise-level platform.”

Developed in September 2012, there currently are four tiers to the partner program. Organizations in the Monetate Certified Partner and Certified Professional tiers are service and consulting firms that want full exposure to the capabilities and best practices within the Monetate platform, Perry explained. “These partners go through extended training in particular areas of emphasis based on their specialties,” he said, “such as multichannel integration, user experience design and optimization, or testing and conversion rate optimization.”

Monetate Certified Partners and Monetate Certified Professionals must complete a two-day instructor-led curriculum that includes training and best practices in topics such as:

  • Behaviorial targeting;
  • A/B/n and multivariate testing;
  • Audience targeting and segmentation;
  • Merchandising; and
  • Reporting and analytics.

Certified Partners and Professionals also must receive hands-on UI training and campaign deployment on the Monetate platform, Perry added. Monetate Certified Partners must have at least two Monetate Certified Professionals on staff in order to achieve and maintain this status.

The Monetate Technology Partner and Monetate Compliant Technology programs, however, are for third-party technologies that have a specific, integrated solution with Monetate or a documented, complimentary integration through Monetate native capabilities.

Certified partners receive ongoing training and support, exposure to the Monetate product roadmap, and access to Monetate University, the company’s online training and support community. Partners also receive in-depth sales support and materials. Partners across all tiers receive co-marketing opportunities for white papers, webinars, events, and case studies.

Through 2013, Monetate will be promoting its partner program aggressively through participation in events, public relations, content marketing programs, and local certification workshops, Perry explained. “Our goal is to create a community of experts in user experience optimization and testing that understand the full capabilities and power of the Monetate platform and best practices and bring those capabilities to a larger customer base,” he said. “We also want to work with our technology partners to demonstrate the flexibility of Monetate and confirm its position as a platform that can integrate third-party platforms and technologies with a brand’s digital user experience with no burden on their technology resources.”
