Intelligent Product Solutions (IPS), an end-to-end product development services provider, has announced a distribution agreement with Ingram Micro. The agreement will enable IPS’ Kea software products to be distributed throughout the U.S.

Kea software from IPS is a Workforce Collaboration Solution that provides employees with the tools they need to provide better customer service and boost productivity. Using Kea, all levels of employees have access to task and voice management services. Users can access the Kea software on the Motorola SB1 device, which features a barcode scanner and the E Ink Pearl display. In addition to being available as a native Android app for Motorola MC40 devices, Kea can be accessed through a variety of device models that have an Internet connection.

“IPS is very excited to be working with Ingram Micro as the company has a strong reach into the mobility reseller market with a vast territory and product offerings,” said Derek Peterson, IPS’ VP of Software Engineering. “Ingram Micro is a leader in technology delivery, which offers options for companies seeking our productivity software.”

Regarding the value of the distribution deal, Carla Cicero, Executive Director of Vendor Management and Sales, Data Capture/POS, Ingram Micro North America, added: “Workforce Collaboration Software is an essential piece of the mobile solution, and IPS’ Kea software offers a great complement to our existing mobility, data capture and point of sale portfolio.”
